Ready to wear.
All purchases can be made via the digital boutique, or by direct enquiry email to velvet johnstone.
Once order is placed you will receive an email to confirm. Should we be unable to process your order for any reason, full payment will be refunded within 24hours.
We work to standard UK sizing, however can also work with you one to one with our made to measure service giving you a perfect personal fit should you require. Please email the studio to make an appointment for your fitting.
While many of our styles will be listed in the digital boutique, if you do fall in love with a piece from the archive, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We will do our best to accommodate your request.
Because each piece is made especially for you, please allow a little longer for delivery. We aim to have your order with you within 12 weeks.
Purchases are none refundable.
If for any reason your item is damaged please contact the studio within 48 hours.
Bridal and bespoke services.
Please call the studio to arrange a consultation. Together we can discus your requirements and inspiration to develop ideas.
A 50% deposit of initial quote must be paid and cleared in full before design work commences. Following this sketches and swatches will be presented, and subsequent appointments made for development and fittings.
Once the final design, fabrics and fit have been confirmed a further payment will be made.
When your final piece is ready we will invite you for a final fitting. The balance on payment paid and your piece is ready for collection.
Lead times for this service can vary depending on order. We will discuss this at your initial appointment and confirm an estimated hand over date. We always try our best to accommodate short deadlines, as we appreciate that sometimes there simply isn’t the luxury of notice for that special occasion. If this is the case please specify when making an appointment. In this case we may need to add a small priority fee.

Following your initial fitting a quote will be given based on your requirements and payment paid in full before work commences.
Bespoke and bridal.
A 50% non refundable deposit is required before design work commences. This is based on an estimated quote for your piece, since at this stage all fabrics and details will not have been confirmed.
Once style fit and fabrics have been confirmed a final quote will be made. Further payment will be needed bringing total payment to 75%.
You will be invited for a further fitting once your final garment is ready. If you require any additional last minute alterations made at this stage, final payment will include any additional alteration charges.
Delivery is complimentary on all UK orders using Royal Mail Special delivery.
